This is a work of conceptual art by Helmut Smits. The idea is a pixel from a height of one kilometer can be represented by a 82×82cm square of burned grass. I love this idea; too bad it is only a art project and you can not actually find this in google earth.

The space station is almost done. After each construction flight the shuttle does a fly around the station. This is a sped up video of the fly around from STS 119.

Thinking putty is cool stuff.  You put a magnet near it and it will do some strange things.

Here is a video I made of my green laser.  It was early morning with a bit of fog and wow did the laser ever show up good on video.  This is a 200mw laser purchased online from DealExtreme.com
